Zero

Zero was built by SPEKTRE (Special Planetary Enforcement Kaiju Threat Response) - the first of a new generation of Colossi built to defend the planet against the kaiju threat. Zero was named after their chief scientist Dr. Zeron, who had his own brain hardwired into the construct in an attempt to expand his intellect. The experiment worked - but at the cost of his sanity. 

Obsessed with stockpiling the Ichor for his experiments, Zero went missing for a few days. When he returned he had modified his body, arming himself with weaponry and hyper-advanced technology - and filled with rage...

Talos

Awakened after laying dormant for millennia, Talos was the first Colossus to appear. He has proven a stalwart defender of the world against all threats from beyond. 

Powered by ichor - a powerful substance created when kaiju blood reacts with lava - he is a strong, fast, and immensely skilled warrior. With each kill, Talos casts his foe into the volcano at the heart of Symberia - creating more ichor to power himself and his future allies.

Robots rule.

Giant robots? Even better.

I've been a fan of robots and machines as long as I can remember. I've designed a few over the years, my style shifting and adapting over time. I've always wanted to bring out a toy line of modular robots you could outfit with different weapons and tools - hardly a brand new concept, but I wanted to figure out what my take on that concept would be.

The Colossi of Chaos are the realisation of that dream.

It's been a long road - work on the Colossi began in 2020, and they've seen countless revisions over that time - but the journey is just beginning. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Glyos makers and community for inspiring me, Matt Doughty for creating and watching over Glyos, and Cappy for his support and partnership in distribution - the Colossi wouldn't be here without all of you.
